SIXTH ANNUAL MEETING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA FINANCIAL MECHANISM AND THE NORWEGIAN FINANCIAL MECHANISM 2009 - 2014

On 24^th of November 2016 was held the Sixth annual meeting for reporting of the progress in the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009 – 2014. The Forum was chaired by Ms. Malina Krumova, head of the National Focal Point and Mr. Sur Larsen, director for the Central Europe section in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event was attended by Mr. Andri Uliuson, First Secretary in the Embassy of Iceland in Brussel, representatives from the Financial Mechanism Office and representatives from all Programme Operators.

From Bulgarian side in the meeting were presented results and effects from the financed priority areas and from successfuly implemented projects. The both sides – Bulgarian and Donor States, shared satisfaction from the beneficial bilateral cooperation and about the progress made. Apart from the numerical dimension of the high absorption rate, attention was paid to the practical effect and positive change achieved through the investment.
