OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE YOUTH CENTER IN PLOVDIV

On the 19th of November 2015 was held the official opening of the Youth Center in Plovdiv. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sport Mr. Krasen Kralev, the mayor of Plovdiv Mr. Ivan Totev, the Deputy Mayor Mr. Georgi Titiukov, H.E. Ms. Gurov Vikor, ambassador of Norway to Bulgaria, Ms. Mariana Kordova, Head of the National Focal Point  and Mr. Ivan Modev on behalf of the Programme Operator - the Ministry of Education and Science.

The project budget is 1 147 009 Euro and the Municipality of Plovdiv has decided to upbuild the center by investing additional resources for the creation of sport fields for football, volleyball, basketball, tennis as well as an open air fitness facilities. 

The building of the center is on 3 floors and has a medical cabinet, a library, internet center, canteen and two meeting halls as well as a few rooms for accomodation. Among the planned activities should be mentioned youth exchanges, trainings, round tables, campaigns on various topics, etc. The center will provide access to programmes for reintegration of school dropouts.
